A Sister is a Forever Friend

Hello hello! I hope that you had a fabulous weekend! Yesterday was National Sister’s Day and I am dedicating this post to my two best friends in the whole world…aka my sisters!  A sister is a forever friend and I have been truly blessed with not just one sister, but two sisters!

I’ll start with Bethany…

My sister, Bethany, is my best friend! We grew up together helping each other through the tough times and rejoicing in the happy times.  We shared a room from the time I was 3 until I graduated from high school.  Sometimes, I think back and don’t even know how we shared a room.  We are complete opposites! She is creative and artsy and I am an organized neat freak.  We didn’t always get along…and we still don’t always get along.  But we both know deep down that we will always be there for and love each other.

And then came Rebekah…

Rebekah is the cutest and sweetest little girl I know (I may be a little biased ;)) Our relationship is definitely different than the relationship between Bethany and myself because she is a lot younger.  I love that she brings back the little girl in me! But let’s get real, I still feel like a little kid sometimes. 🙂  It has been a joy to watch her grow into a little young lady and I look forward to watching her grow up into a young adult.  It is definitely a priority for me to stay involved in her life as much as possible.

I thank God everyday for my two sisters! I love you and happy National Sister’s Day!

  1. I completely agree! I know some people that don’t get along with their sister and I just can’t fathom that. I am truly blessed that I get a long with both of my sisters. We have our differences, but we get over it…lol! And thanks! 🙂
