Thank you for visiting Lutheran Runner!
About the Author
Hi, I’m Mary! I’m an aspiring blogger, wife to Aaron, runner, Lutheran, coffee lover, dog lover, budgeting queen, neat freak, and peanut butter fanatic!
My Blogging History
I started blogging about life and running back in February 2013. I used my blog as a creative outlet to decompress after school and work. Several months later I met my husband, Aaron, and I drifted away from the blogging world. Of course more life happened and I graduated from college with a BA in Communicative Arts (aka Public Relations), got engaged, and married Aaron, my best friend (and running buddy for life!) in December 2014. From 2015-2017 my blogging was a little sporadic and the title wasn’t unique to me.
I recently renamed and rebranded my blog to be more unique to me. That’s all a part of the growth and learning experience! And now here I am, once again making my contributions to the blogging world with an improved blog.
About the Blog
“Lutheran Runner” is a blog all about living and sharing a healthy lifestyle one mile at a time. “Lutheran Runner” encompasses me as a person and embodies two very important aspects of my life, my faith and my running. And, although my faith is very important to me, this blog is not meant to be a platform for pushing any specific Lutheran/Christian Agenda.
I will occasionally share faith related posts because Spiritual health is part of my life and living a “healthy lifestyle.” You can expect stories and life experiences you’ll hopefully find relatable, encompassing the adventures of living a healthy, active, and balanced life along with some everyday life adventures with my husband.
I look forward to living and sharing a healthy lifestyle one mile at a time, through this little space I like to call “Lutheran Runner.”
